My journey with fishkeeping began over 40 years ago in Louisiana with just two tanks and a passion for guppies. What started as a childhood hobby quickly grew into a lifelong dedication to breeding and raising healthy, thriving aquarium fish.

Today, I’m based in Bedford, Texas, where I continue that passion with more than 60 tanks dedicated to breeding, raising, and caring for a wide variety of fish. Over the years, I’ve spent countless hours learning breeding techniques, improving water quality, refining feeding programs, and developing the best possible environment for healthy fish growth.

In addition to running Lane Aquatics, I work as a Husbandry Technician and Lab Tech at my day job. My professional experience has strengthened my commitment to proper animal care, attention to detail, and maintaining healthy aquatic environments.

My passion is simple: to breed and raise the healthiest fish possible. I take pride in the care I provide, from successfully hatching delicate eggs to growing strong, vibrant fish that thrive in their new homes. Every fish is raised with patience, knowledge, and a genuine love for the hobby.
